Hello Everyone!

Both Lyv and I are excited to welcome you to the official first post of our blog Pink Paper Airplanes.

Why THAT name, you ask? Well, it’s kind of a long, boring story — but to shorten the explanation: the “Pink” is for two girls that like to make pretty things (what else do you think of when you hear the word pink?). The “Paper” is, of course, our paper creations – whether Lyv’s photos, Laura’s cards or fabric goodies, and everything in between! And the “Paper Airplanes” is for our boys – Dad, Drew and Jack – that always bring us back to reality and responsibility… in a very good way, right? 😉

You’ll be seeing lots of those things as well as what’s going on in our lives, personal or family-related. You will be seeing things that may interest you… or not, make you laugh… or not. 😛 You will also be seeing what projects we’re working on and even travel plans for Lyv (as she is finishing up her junior year of high school). We’ll be sharing our thoughts, our ah-hah’s, what God’s been doing in our lives and especially how He’s bringing us closer to Him.

We truly hope you find a little bit of happiness and a whole lot of inspiration in what we share. This roller coaster of life is much better when shared with loved ones like you — so as we give you a glimpse into our little slice of life, we would be tickled “pink” and honored if you would share back with us your thoughts and encouragement!
